I've been in Denver for nearly three days covering the DNC and I am told that my sluggishness and headache is probably from the change in altitude. I'd feel kind of wimpy if I had not just rocked the last 16 hours on the convention floor. After a year of covering politics I think I am at what is the equivelant of the third quarter. Less than 70 days until election day and this little party has given me the shot in the arm I needed for covering politics. I've beeen laying low on the campaign trail since May. Being here reminds me why I wanted to cover this election in the first place. Peoples' passion for wanting a better America and how their expectations for their future leader is infectious. I really do see the hope that people have when they believe in a candidate. Republican of Democrat. It's nice to be a part of it. Maybe there's more to my dizziness than the altitude.
